Summary :
Saher is a first generation Indian-Muslim immigrant. She moved alone to the US from her hometown in Saudi Arabia at the age of 18. Over the years, she grew her passion for photography and art into a small business named Saher Jafri Arts, brought to life in summer of 2017. The common thread behind all of her work is the art of henna, a celebratory tradition from both the Indian and Saudi cultures. Saher's goal with her art is to celebrate the South Asian identity through western street wear and art techniques. She wants to provide a fun, unique way for individuals to represent the beauty of henna on their sleeves.
"I WANT TO INSPIRE, TEACH, AND LEARN FROM OTHER SOUTH ASIAN DESIGNERS, ENTREPRENEURS, OR FUTURE BUSINESS OWNERS WHO NEED A PUSH TO GET STARTED." - SAHER JAFRI
